Echinacea: not only known for immunity but also for aiding the digestive system by promoting a healthy balance of gut bacteria BUT keep in mind it is recommended for short-term use (example, not to be used for everyday immune support but at the onset and during only)
Rosehips: high in vitamin C which helps fend off infections & also enhances cellular repair and regeneration.
Orange peel: rich in fiber which supports the digestive system to help strengthen the immune system.
Cinnamon: high antioxidant content aids in reducing inflammation and supporting immune function - research shows that cinnamaldehyde, the compound responsible for cinnamon’s distinctive flavor, helps decrease inflammatory markers, potentially reducing chronic inflammation associated with many dis-eases.
Recommended use: Add 1 tablespoon of loose herbs per 8 ounces of water to a reusable tea bag, strainer or diffuser and steep at 212°F for 7-10 minutes or decoct for 20 minutes!
